Il Faro stands on the cliffs of Capo Vaticano beside the working lighthouse, embraced by the sea on three sides. On a clear evening the view from the terrace reaches Sicily, Etna and the Aeolian Islands.
We are a family-run venue with more than fifteen years of experience in hosting celebrations. Every wedding receives our personal attention and a level of service worthy of the setting, and we look after each detail so that your day unfolds exactly as you imagined it.

The view from the terrace
To the west, the Aeolian Islands line the horizon at sunset.
Stromboli, the nearest, lies some 57 km away and still smoulders. Beyond it the rest of the Aeolian chain softens into the evening haze, while to the south rise the coast of Sicily and the snow-capped cone of Etna. Touch an island to learn more.

Il Faro lends itself as gracefully to a luxurious reception as to something more relaxed and rustic. The clifftop is arranged as four distinct spaces, and most celebrations move between them as the evening unfolds.

Ally is often the first person you meet when you visit. Her calm, reassuring presence guides couples from the very first consultation to the wedding day itself.

Rebecca
Rebecca came to events from a career in accounting, and has built much of our wooden décor herself, the AMORE sign among it. When she is not in her workshop, she is answering your emails.
Food & local suppliers
Calabrian produce, prepared by professionally trained chefs.
We work with an exceptional caterer who brings the freshest local Calabrian produce to the table. We also enjoy trusted relationships with florists, churches, musicians, videographers and places to stay nearby, and would be glad to coordinate them on your behalf, translate where needed, and act as your wedding planner.
